Donate now to help stock food pantries with local food for Mainers

We've spent a great deal of time thinking about what role Cultivating Community can and should be playing in these early days of the COVID-19 crisis.

As we're all starting to understand, this unprecedented pandemic will have long-reaching ripples that will undoubtedly cause even greater financial and food insecurity on our marginalized communities who already struggle. Because of this, we need to coordinate our continued response now and we need your help.

We are asking you to support New American farmers and low-income families by contributing to our Emergency Food Fund. This additional revenue will allow us to purchase greater volumes of produce from farmers and significantly step up the quantity and frequency of our food pantry deliveries throughout the July - October harvest season.

A donation today means:

  • secured income for a New American farmer
  • secured local food for a Mainer in need

Now more than ever we feel the importance of community coming together when it matters most. We pledge that with these donations, in partnership with our strongest community allies, we will continue to fight for Food Justice For All.

In Solidarity,

The Staff of Cultivating Community

Thank you to our partner, Allagash Brewing Company, who has committed to matching the first $8,000 raised.
